NIS Loy Krathong Day

On Thursday, November 10, 2011, Nantawan International School celebrated Loy Krathong . All students came to school with very nice traditional Thai clothes. We had different activities e.g. Thai dance, Krathong Contest, Floating Krathong, Noo Noi Nopphamat Contest and Food selling by Primary classes.

Students had a very good time and enjoy the program very much. For Krathong contest, the winner of the kindergarten section is K.1 and primary section is Year 1. In Noo Noi Nopphamat Contest, all the contestants were in very beautiful Thai tradition costumes. We had roses to sell for the contestants to win the popular vote positions. The money that school received from selling flowers would be donated to the flood victims through Channel 3. We got 31,990 baht from flower selling for the donation.

Kindergarten:

  • 1st place is Ete from K.1
  • 2nd place is TJ from K.2
  • 3rd pace is Cody from K.1
  • Popular Vote is Pamela fromf K.3

Primary 1 – 3:

  • 1st place is Haagen-Dazs from Year 1
  • 2nd place is Gina from Year 1
  • 3rd place are Dada, Vanessa and Ton-Nam
  • Popular Vote are Dada and Ton-Kla

Primary 4 -6:

  • 1st place is Sia from Year 5
  • 2nd place is Jonathan from Year 4
  • 3rd place are Jill and Ja from Year 4
  • Popular Vote is Sia Year 5

We would like to thank all the parents, students and teachers who supported and participated in the program very well. It was a very good Loy Krathong Day in Nantawan International School.
