Student Council of NIS 2011-2012

A Student Council, consisting of the President and Vice- president along with prefects of year 6 will be selected by the Primary school students to represent the opinions and views of the students. The Student Council will play an important role by partnering with the teachers and staff of NIS in maintaining discipline, observing and reinforcing school rules. They will also assist the Student Affairs department in planning and organization of extracurricular events in NIS.

On Friday August 19, an election assembly will be held in the canal house (music room) at 2:30 P. M. The students of all year levels will vote for the student council candidates. The election process will be conducted in a fair manner. The successful candidates will take office on August 22, 2011.

The candidates running for the President and Vice- President have been nominated by nomination committee of Student council.
