Head of English Medium Section


Karl Meneghella has been an educator for 30 years; first as a generalist primary teacher then later as both an Art and a Music Specialist. Karl has also taught as a subject specialist at secondary level as well as lecturing through the ACE Program at tertiary level.

Whilst the majority of Karl’s classroom teaching and administrative roles have been in Australia, Karl has also taught in the USA under the aegis of the Visiting International Faculty Program, been a classroom teacher in Essex London and was a Principal in Singapore. Added to this experience, he is the author of three educational publications and has presented seminars and workshops on child centric learning, behaviour management, developmental teaching and multiple intelligences.

Karl is passionate about teaching and learning and has received commendations from Curtin University in Western Australia for his mentoring work with indigenous students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education Conversion Course and from Edith Cowan University for his work with their students’ Assistant Teacher Practicum program.

A lifelong learner himself, Karl has returned to university on several occasions and now holds a Diploma of Teaching, a Graduate Certificate in Business [Asian Studies], A Graduate Diploma of Applied Science, a Graduate Diploma of E-Commerce, a Master of Business Administration and is a Justice of the Peace. Karl also recently completed his accreditation as an Executive Coach through Growth Coaching International.
