On Thursday 2nd July, from 8:00am to 8.30 am., NTS students, parents and teachers made merit by inviting 9 monks from a nearby temple to come to the school. Everyone lined up in front of the flag pole and offered food and everyday items to the monks. Afterwards, Grade 3 students went to the Bangplee Yai Klang temple to join the Buddhist Lent Day activity. They took giant candles to offer to monks, who spend three months at the temple and study Buddhist texts and teach people ethics.
