PRE-KINDERGARTEN (for students aged 1.5 – 3.0)

NIS' Pre-Kindergarten (‘PK’) School undertakes to provide all its students with the best start in life. We follow an English medium curriculum and employ native-speaking English staff to teach students and train their colleagues. Each class is looked often by three teachers and has a maximum of 24 students. Safety is our highest priority and classrooms are specially designed to foster a secure and enjoyable environment. The PK schedule includes periods allocated to studies, singing, playing games, drawing, active listening to stories and afternoon naps.

Pre-kindergarten Uniform

All students wear school uniform everyday except Wednesday they wear a P.E. sport shirt & pain.

Objectives:

To build good learning skills for children in the age of pre-kindergarten. Also to train them about social skills, and be independent in simple tasks.

1. Our outstanding point is the teaching by Native English teachers through an English Curriculum. We also have Chinese teachers.

2. We admit 24 children maximum per class with three teachers (English, Thai, Chinese or Nurse) taking care of them at all times! The classroom area is 48 square meters.

3. We take very seriously the children's security. Every place must be safe. The classroom is covered with an EVA colored rubber floor which is non toxic and safe for children. The play section is surrounded with gentle but strong rope.

4. We provide a nurse to take care of the children's hygiene. The classroom is cleaned daily. Teaching materials and toys are cleaned weekly and the play area is also cleaned regularly.

5. We prefer our students to learn in a good environment with appropriate materials so we’ve prepared high quality materials such as toys, books, VCDs from Thailand and abroad.

6. After lunch it's nap time. The school uses beds from France. The children change into comfortable pajamas which help them sleep better.

7. With the help of a qualified nutritionist, we have prepared a healthy lunch menu that the children will enjoy.

8. The school carefully hires experienced Pre-Kindergarten teachers to set up schedules for learning and games for our students. Our activities include group work, singing, drawing and telling stories by using English, Thai and Chinese.
