NIS' Pre-Kindergarten (PK) School undertakes to provide all its students with the best start in life. We follow an English medium curriculum and employ native-speaking English staff to teach students and train their colleagues. Safety is our highest priority and classrooms are specially designed to foster a secure and enjoyable environment. The PK schedule includes periods allocated to studying, singing, doing activities, drawing, active listening to stories and afternoon naps.

Pre-Kindergarten Uniform

All students wear their school uniform every day except Wednesday when they wear a P.E. sports shirt & shorts.

Objective:

To build effective practical learning skills (such as social skills and independence in the completion of simple tasks) for children at pre-Kindergarten age in a rewarding, safe and enjoyable environment

Features

1. One of the principal benefits we offer is native speaking English and Chinese teachers.

2. Our maximum class number is 24 children. All classes have three teachers (English, Chinese and Thai and/or a nurse) taking care of them at all times. The classroom area is 48 sq metres.

3. We treat our children’s security as being of the utmost importance: each part of their school is kept totally safe. All classrooms have an EVA-coloured rubber floor which is non-toxic and suitable for children to use. The play section is surrounded by a gentle but firm rope boundary.

4. A nurse takes care of children’s hygiene and health. Classrooms are cleaned daily; teaching equipment, toys and play areas also undergo regular cleaning.

5. Our children use the highest quality learning materials (such as books, VCDs and educational toys) selected from the best available in Thailand and from abroad.

6. After lunch children take a nap on the best beds available (which have been ordered – after extensive research – from France). They change into comfortable pyjamas to help them sleep comfortably.

7. We provide a healthy and enjoyable lunch menu approved by a qualified nutritionist.

8. We have engaged an excellent team of Pre-Kindergarten teachers to devise and operate a comprehensive and fun schedule of learning and games for our children. The latter’s activities include group work, singing, drawing and telling stories in English, Chinese and Thai.
