Dear Parent.
I should like to acquaint you with some important details of the current direction of NIS 'English Medium Section (EMS). As you are aware, we are Currently Delivering a Bridging Programme to ensure consistency between Our Students 'past and Future Studies in accordance with NIS' Accrediting body, the. University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)..
CIE provision for 5-19 year olds is divided into 4 stages:.
·. Cambridge Primary,. ·. Cambridge Secondary 1,. ·. Cambridge Secondary 2,. ·. Cambridge Advanced.
Schools which enjoy CIE centreship (such as NIS) may select those CIE stages most relevant to their students' learning needs, and with the latter in mind NIS is following the following stages. Each fresh stage builds on learners' development in the previous stage.     NIS 'Primary Section students (Years 1 - 6) are now following the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) framework curriculum for their core subject studies in English, Science and Mathematics. This will prepare them for eventual studies at Cambridge Lower Secondary level. Our Secondary Section students (currently Years 7 - 8; we will be adding further years in due course) are now following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme framework curriculum; this will prepare them for eventual studies at Cambridge Secondary 2 level. Together, these levels constitute a seamless learning paradigm, with each stage suited to the academic level of the students concerned.
During the Bridging Programme students study materials relevant to the CIPP, and CIE's Lower Secondary Checkpoint Diagnostic Tool will be used to assess studies in English, Mathematics and Science. All other subjects will be tested by NIS in accordance with CIPP criteria and using the CIPP format. Tests will during Week 8 of the Bridging Programme, and Test results will be provided for. parents on Friday 9.th. July 2 010.
NIS is a Cambridge International Centre fully authorised to deliver the CIPP, which is recognised worldwide as an exemplary academic framework. The CIPP leads to the Cambridge IGCSE - the International General Certificate of Secondary Education - and is the world's most popular international academic qualifications for 14 - 16 year olds.
Our teachers are fully versed in the CIPP programme and deliver their lessons in accordance with its curriculum, adding value through supplementary materials such as worksheets, project work and practical exercises used to reinforce students' learning understanding.
Our teachers also undergo full accreditation, allowing NIS the opportunity not only to invigilate our examinations but to fully assess the results of all examinations taken. Assessment and evaluation of each student are very important and allow us to prepare every student for the objectives required to ensure the highest standard possible for each individual.
After careful and detailed deliberation, we are confident that NIS 'CIE curricular framework offers the best academic prospects for our Primary and Secondary Section students, and we will keep parents fully informed at all times of further developments.

ที่ นนท0016/2553 9 มิถุนายน 2553 เรื่อง แจ้งข่าวสารทางวิชาการของฝ่าย EMS เรียน ท่านผู้ปกครองนักเรียนชั้นประถม ศึกษา และมัธยมศึกษา ทางโรงเรียนใคร่ขอเรียนชี้แจง รายละเอียดข่าวสารทางวิชาการฝ่าย English Medium Section (EMS.) ของทางโรงเรียนฯ ดังนี้ ดังที่ ทราบกันว่าขณะนี้ทางโรงเรียนฯ กำลังอยู่ในช่วง Bridging Programme เพื่อที่จะปรับระดับการเรียน ให้ได้ระดับตามที่ Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) ซึ่ง เป็นองค์กรรับรองและตรวจสอบคุณภาพการศึกษาโรงเรียนนานาชาติกำหนด ตามแบบ แผนการเรียนที่ทาง Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) กำหนดให้ผู้เรียนตั้งแต่อายุ 5 – 19 ปีนั้นแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ระดับขั้นดังนี้ · Cambridge Primary, · Cambridge Secondary 1, · Cambridge Secondary 2, · Cambridge Advanced. โรงเรียนต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิกของ CIE ซึ่ง รวมทั้งโรงเรียนนานาชาตินันทวรรณนั้น โรงเรียนที่เป็น สมาชิกสามารถเลือกระดับขั้นเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับความต้อง การของผู้เรียนของตนเองได้ ซึ่งโรงเรียนนานาชาตินันทวรรณได้ เลือกระดับขั้นให้เหมาะสมกับการเรียนของผู้เรียนตาม CIE ดังนี้
นักเรียนระดับชั้นประถม ศึกษาของโรงเรียนนานาชาตินันทวรรณ (Years 1 – 6) ใช้ หลักสูตรของ Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) ใน การสอนวิชาหลักคือ ภาษาอังกฤษ,วิทยาศาสตร์และคณะศาสตร์ เพื่อ เตรียมความพร้อมให้กับตัวนักเรียนในการในระดับ Cambridge Lower Secondary level และขณะนี้นักเรียนระดับมัธยมต้น (Years 7 – 8 ) ก็ใช้โครงสร้างหลักสูตรของ Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme อยู่ ซึ่งจะเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมของเด็ก สำหรับระดับ Cambridge Secondary 2 level. ต่อไป ซึ่ง การจัดการเรียนตามโครงสร้างหลักสูตรเช่นว่านี้เป็นการจัดการเรียนอย่างต่อ เนื่อง ในช่วงของ Bridging Programme ทาง โรงเรียนฯใช้เครื่องมือที่เรียกว่า CIE’s Lower Secondary Checkpoint Diagnostic Tool เป็นเครื่องมือในการประเมินผลการเรียน ภาษาอังกฤษ,คณิตศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ ส่วนวิชาที่เหลือทาง โรงเรียนฯจะวัดผลไปตามมาตรฐาน และรูปแบบของ CIPP โดย ทางโรงเรียนฯจะทำการวัดผลในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ 8 ของ Bridging Programme และจะประกาศผลในวันศุกร์ที่ 9 กรกฏาคม พ.ศ. 2553 โรงเรียน นานาชาตินันทวรรณเป็น Cambridge International Centre โดยได้รับอนุมัติให้ใช้หลักสูตร CIPP ซึ่ง เป็นโครงสร้างหลักสูตรตามมาตรฐานสากล โดยหลักสูตร CIPP สามารถช่วยให้ผู้เรียนเข้าเรียนในหลักสูตร IGCSE ของ Cambridge ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรที่เป็นที่ยอมรับของสากลสำหรับการ ศึกษาของนักเรียนชั้นโตขึ้นที่มีอายุระหว่าง 14 – 16 ปี คุณครู ของทางโรงเรียนได้รับการฝึกอบรมการสอนในหลักสูตร CIPP อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ อีกทั้งมีการ เพิ่มทักษะให้กับผู้เรียนเพิ่มเติมผ่านทางเอกสารต่าง ๆ และโครงงาน เพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่านักเรียนมีความเข้าใจในบทเรียนได้เป็นอย่างดี นอกจาก นี้ทางโรงเรียนฯ ได้ให้ความสำคัญเรื่องของการวัดและประเมินผลของนักเรียนแต่ละคน เพราะ จะช่วยให้โรงเรียนฯมีความเข้าใจในตัวนักเรียน อันจะส่งผลให้ สามารถปรับปรุงและพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนให้ดีขึ้นได้เป็นรายบุคคล ทางโรงเรียนฯ มีความเชื่อมั่นว่าโครงสร้างหลักสูตร CIPP ที่ โรงเรียนฯได้นำมาใช้นั้นจะช่วยให้การเรียนรู้ในระดับประถมศึกษา และ มัธยมศึกษามีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล หากผู้ ปกครองท่านใดมีข้อสงสัย หรือต้องการสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมกรุณาติดต่อโดยตรงที่ฝ่ายวิชาการประถม (Andrew Elliott) เบอร์โทรศัพท์ภายใน 10 หรือ ติดต่อผู้ช่วยฝ่ายวิชาการประถม (Jason Graham)
