BRIDGING PROGRAMME PDF Print E-mail

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to be able to share with you details of our Bridging Programme from 10th May 2010 to 9th July 2010. The Bridging Programme is designed to provide school services for our students between the end of the Thai school year and the beginning of the international school year in August.

We are using this time to achieve three significant outcomes:

  1. We will be introducing a more complete school curriculum that has a lot more depth and breadth and builds on the existing curriculum. This means we are NOT taking anything away; we are actually adding focus areas to ensure our students follow a complete curriculum.
  2. We will be allocating a classroom teacher to each Primary and Secondary class. This teacher will teach most of the subjects, remaining in his or her classroom. This new system strengthen teacher / student relationships and help avoid any wastage of lessonm time from teachers or students from one room to another.
  3. Teachers will be provided with training and ongoing support in delivering this more complete curriculum. We will still have specialist teachers for Science, Art, Music and Computing.

We are now sourcing state-of-the-art textbooks for all our learning areas, and real academic improvements will become fully visible as the Briding Programme and new academic year progress.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss any of this in further detail or to receive any additional information.
Yours sincerely

Karl Meneghella
Head of English medium Studies
